Three Podiums for ISS Cycling Team at Gran Fondo Delta 2025 May 4, 2025, the ISS Cycling Team achieved outstanding results at the Gran Fondo Delta held in Alexandroupoli, Greece. Competing on a challenging course, our athletes delivered impressive performances:
• Buse Özlem took 2nd place in the 70 km Medio Fondo women’s general classification.
• Ahmet Eren secured 2nd place in his category in the 70 km Medio Fondo.
• Ozan Özlem earned 3rd place in the 135 km Gran Fondo men’s category.
About the Race
The Gran Fondo Delta offers participants two race distances:
• Gran Fondo: A 135 km route with 1,525 meters of elevation gain, starting from the iconic Alexandroupoli lighthouse and passing landmarks such as Dimokratias and Eirinis Bridge, Feres, Pilaia, and Loutros, before returning to the city center.
• Medio Fondo: A 70 km route with 575 meters of climbing, offering a scenic ride along eam Statement
